About

ShameDonkey is a movable pointer of shame. Using Twitter, you can vote for the URL you feel is the most deserving of a ShameDonkey. ShameDonkey proudly displays the URL with the highest number of votes on the front page of ShameDonkey.com. You may vote early and vote often.

How do I vote

Using Twitter, you can vote for the URL you feel most deserves a ShameDonkey. You vote by sending a Twitter message to @shamedonkey (http://twitter.com/shamedonkey) that includes a URL. The first URL in your tweet will get your vote. For example:

"@shamedonkey http://www.rickastley.co.uk gets my vote"
     #casts 1 vote for rickastley.co.uk

  "I think http://www.rushlimbaugh.com deserves a @shamedonkey because he's a douchebag"
     #casts 1 vote for rushlimbaugh.com

It doesn't matter what the content of your tweet is, as long is it contains an '@shamedonkey' and some URL starting with 'http://'. If you use any URL shortners like Bit.ly or Tinyurl, the real URL (as in, the long URL) will be used as your vote. If you have multiple URLs in your tweet, your vote is only counted for the first URL in your tweet.

Remember, you can only point the shamedonkey to a live URL - tweets that contain no URL will be ignored.

Who/what should I point the ShameDonkey too?

Anything really! The Church of Scientology, Sarah Palin hunting photos, iPhone App store rejection letters, etc.

Why?

Why not.
